National Signing Choir Competition 2022

WHAT IS THE NSCC?
Revolution and AFR have been given the prestigious honour of hosting the National Signing Choir Competition 2022 and on Saturday 14 May 2022 - it is coming to the capital.  Founded by Simon Astill in 2017, the NSCC is now in its 4th year and provides a platform for signing choirs across the UK to compete to take the title of NSCC Champions. 

WHAT ARE SIGNING CHOIRS?
Signing choirs use various formats of sign language to represent the lyrics of a wide range of songs creating a spectacular visual performance that unites both Deaf and hearing communities under one roof through the power of music.

AFR announced NSCC 2018 Junior Champions!

All Faiths Revolutionaries - AFR, run by Revolution Signing Choir have taken the top spot after competing in the National Signing Choir Competition 2018 held this year in Gillingham at Medway Park.

The NSCC, founded by Simon Astill of Visualistic in 2016, is now in its second year and provides a platform for signing choirs from around the UK to compete and perform a variety of songs signed in various BSL dialects.  Signing choirs use a wide range of sign language formats to translate and express the lyrics of a song creating a spectacular visual performance.  Simon's dream was to create an all inclusive environment where both hearing and Deaf communities can enjoy the power of musical entertainment. 

Do you like music and would like to try something NEW? Why not come along to Revolution Signing Choir and have a go.  Fun and laughter guaranteed and the first session is FREE!
